“Turley” signifies elite, rich California wine. We’re thrilled to welcome Christina Turley, eldest daughter of owner Larry Turley, a former emergency room physician who founded his winery in 1993. Turley Wine Cellars now makes 50 different wines from over 50 vineyards across California, mostly Zinfandel and Petite Syrah, with many vines dating back to the late 1800’s. Larry has never met an old vine he didn’t like! Christina will lead us through 6 single vineyard Zinfandels from appellations including Paso Robles, Lodi, Amador, Howell Mountain, and their Napa estate. Christina stands on her own merit in the wine trade: she was the Beverage Director for New York’s Momofuku Restaurant Group, and was named to both Forbes' "30 Under 30" and the Wine Enthusiast's "40 Under 40." Her father “guilted her into returning to her roots”: she now directs sales and marketing for the winery.
