‘Antinori’ has been synonymous with the art of winemaking for over six centuries! In 1385, Giovanni di Piero Antinori joined the “Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri”, the Florentine Vintner’s (“Vinattieri) Guild. From their ancestral home of Tuscany, the Antinori family has directed their business for 26 generations. Today, Albiera Antinori is the president of Marchesi Antinori, working with her sisters, Allegra and Alessia. Their father, Marchese Piero Antinori, is the Honorary President. As he loves to say: “Ancient roots play an important part in our philosophy but have never hindered our innovative spirit”. Founded in 2024, Vinattieri 1385 was created to deepen the connection between the Antinori family and American wine lovers. Join us to taste the flagship wines of their estates in Tuscany, Umbria, the Piedmont, and yes, Washington State! You’ll sample 13 wines in all, including Marchesi Antinori’s most famous wine, the pioneering Super-Tuscan ‘Tignanello’. We’ll have the excellent company of GaYoung Kim, Advanced Sommelier and Education Director of Vinattieri 1385.
