Beloved sunshine is here! With torrid heat and humidity fast on its heels… Refreshing, uplifting wine is a must right now, and the Plum Wine Team loves sharing what excites us. We’ll showcase a dozen wines that do the summer trick, without sacrificing depth of flavor and impeccable winemaking. Oakland County Wine Team Leaders Michael Timpa and Jason Kugel, Assistant Wine Team Leaders Paula Hartson and Shawn Kaiser and Beverage Coordinator Denny Walsh, and E-Commerce Coordinator Travis Reeves will pick personal faves. No specific previews of what we’re going to show! But you can be sure of each wine reflecting standout quality and way over-perform at its price. You can look forward to:
Sparkling – both ‘serious’ classical bubbles and quaffs that make great cocktails
Pink – THE BEST dry rosés on the market! From Provence, of course, and elsewhere
Chillable reds – made from thin-skinned grapes that give just a whisper of tannin
