2020 Louis Jadot Puligny-Montrachet Cote de Beaune
Winemaker Notes: Distinctive, concentrated fresh fruit and vanilla aromas carry on to the palate and culminate in a persistent, lingering finish. Puligny produces wines with greater firmness and depth than those of Meursault, and greater refinement and delicacy than those of Chassagne.
CRITICAL ACCLAIM
Burghound - "A more floral-suffused nose exhibits very pretty, and quite spicy, aromas of various white orchard fruit, especially white peach. The sleek and beautifully textured middle weight flavors possess fine verve and a light minerality that culminates in a clean, nicely dry and lingering finale where a hint of quinine surfaces. This is a lovely Puligny villages and a wine worth investigating. *Outstanding* (89-91pts)"
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - "Revealing aromas of white flowers, citrus oil, buttery pastry and vanilla pod, the 2020 Puligny-Montrachet (Maison Louis Jadot) is medium to full-bodied, ample and open-knit, with a satiny attack and an expansive, saline finish. (87-89pts)"
