NIGHT OF THE LIVING GRAPES REMEMBERING FORGOTTEN VARIETALS
AT PLUM MARKET ANN ARBOR NORTH CAMPUS
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 17TH, 6:30 TO 8PM | $25 TICKET
You might be familiar with Carménère, the Bordeaux grape revived
in the 1990s in Chile. But, have you ever tasted a Romorantin,
fast-disappearing in the Loire, or Vranec grown in the Balkans? Join
us as we re-discover these and other remarkable varietals, uncovering
their resurgence and the excitement they’re creating. From the
unique, Chardonnay-like nuance of Romorantin to the bold, brambly
character of Charbono in California, we’ll experience unique flavor
profiles and captivating histories. We’ll present Tibouren, a little
known star player in the best Provencal wines; Negrette, a black
variety in southwestern France; Malagousia, a perfumed white
thriving in Greece, and more. Don’t miss this ideal opportunity to expand your wine horizons with us! We
were inspired to do this whimsical tasting
by upcoming Halloween!
